Practical Risk Assessment

A picture of a risk assessment flow chart and red pen This is a one day, customer-focused course which is ideally suited to any individual who is responsible for undertaking risk assessments in a workplace or other setting.

The course is designed to take the learner through a logical process in understanding hazards and risk, and then being able put in place sensible and practicable control measures in order to make the work place and work place process safer. We also look at relevant health and safety legislation such as the Health and Safety at Work act and the Management of Health and Safety regulations, and look at accident management and reporting.

The course integrates the client’s own health and safety and risk assessment paperwork and procedures.

  • Carrying out risk assessments, guidelines and techniques

Course Duration:

A one-day (6 hour) course duration.

All candidates will have attempted a risk assessment (within their own field of expertise) on their risk assessment paperwork in advance.
