Anaphylaxis Awareness and Auto-injector (EpiPen® and Jext®) Instructor Course

  Epinephrine Injection using Auto-Injector Syringe Our Anaphylaxis Awareness Instructor  training course is designed for those who are delivering first aid qualifications and Health Care trainers who want to add further subject areas to their training portfolio. With there being so much evidence that the medical condition of anaphylaxis is on the increase, there needs to be a greater understanding of just what anaphylaxis is and just as importantly how it’s managed in the area of first aid. This Instructor course is designed to give you the knowledge and practical skill to be able to pass on to your learners just how to manage this life threatening condition.

We will also show you how the commonly used auto injectors (EpiPen® and Jext®) work, and other delivery methods. You will also receive comprehensive course materials including lesson plans and Power Point presentations as well as auto injector trainer units.

The course content will include the health and safety implications that arise with this subject area, as well as the area of anaphylaxis risk assessment and an understanding of how the UK Resuscitation Council protocols fit with HSE guidelines
